I've always wanted to start a mastermind so I'm really excited the day is finally here! Let's jump right into it:

This Month's Business Goals

My overarching business goal is to eventually build Think & Grow Chick into a full-fledged personal development company for women, complete with books, products, retreats, conference, etc, etc. In order to get there, my immediate focus is to grow this blog and learn ways make my content even better. Below are my goals related to that aim:

1. Get my blogging schedule down. I've been doing really good about blogging regularly lately but I don't have set days where I write. Right now, everything is kind of haphazard and I work on the blog as I have time. The other day, I came up with a little schedule to create 4 post/week based on this post; I want to see if this is something I can stick to this month.
2. Come up with an effective social media plan. I have no consistent schedule for posting things on social media, I just kind of do it as I go. I want to start devoting Saturday mornings to scheduling social media posts for the next week.
3. Complete the blogging course I signed up for. A few weeks ago, I signed up for the Bright-Eyed and Blog Hearted Course, which starts this Monday, March 3. The course seems really comprehensive so I am excited to start! Since I paid over $200 to participate in it, I want to make sure I get my money's worth by actually working through it this month.
4. Guest post on two blogs in my niche. In order to connect with other like-minded readers and develop relationships with other bloggers who do similar work, I plan on pitching at least two guest posts to other similar blogs.

Current Challenges

1. Facebook! Ah!! I don't know why but it is really difficult for me to come up with stuff to post on Facebook! Every time I share something on my fan page, I'm like "Are people even seeing this? Does anyone even care?" I'm pretty good at connecting people on Twitter -- mainly because I enjoy it more than Facebook -- but I understand that Facebook is an important tool for engaging my audience. Are you proficient at Facebook fan page engagement? I really need to get it together
2. Growing Readership. Blogging more consistently has doubled the daily visits to this blog which is great! However, outside of posting more often, I'm not sure how else I can reach more women? If you have any ideas, let me know.

Current Successes/What's Working

1. Staying involved on Twitter. I love twitter! (Can't you tell?) By seriously taking the time to check into what others are doing and finding ways to support their efforts (even via a simple retweet) I've been able network with some really awesome women! Based on my twitter interactions alone, I have a few new collaboration opportunities coming up, which is exciting!
2. Following other bloggers. I mentioned this in my "Becoming a Better Blogger" post, but following other bloggers has exposed me to a lot helpful information I otherwise would not have stumbled on. It's also nice to see what they are working on and check out the bloggers they follow. I fell like I've fallen into a big circle of inspiration which has been great for me.
