The Un-Fussy Natural: Myth or Mandate?

October 30, 2010

Hey everyone. Today's post will be a super quick one because I am out traveling (more info about why in a future post) and do not have regular access to internet. As we've talked about on this blog before, there is much discussion among Naturals about whether complicated care is necessary to maintain our natural hair types. For instance, some women subscribe to daily vitamins, scalp massages, and an innumerable amount of products, all wrapped up in a lengthy, multi-step routine. Others do nothing but add water and maybe a little product and, voila! Fabulous natural hair.

Because I am quite the busy bee, an uncomplicated routine really appeals to me and I would like to believe that it is quite possible to be an "un-fussy" natural with great hair. I want to here from all you natural-heads out there—what do you think? Is the practice of leaving your hair alone and still reaping beautiful results a myth or mandate?Answer in the comments below.
