A while back, asked readers to submit their simple natural hair regimens in the wake of the frustration I was facing in dealing with my own complicated natural hair regimen. Today I'm excited to feature, Ima, a lovely reader with lovely hair and an even lovelier regimen. :-)

Without further ado, take it away, Ima!About: My name is Ima. I am 32 years old and I began my natural hair journey after my last relaxer in November 2010. I did not do the big chop, instead chose to transition with extension braids and twist from 2011 until early 2012. For the rest of 2012, I let my relaxed hair grow out while managing two textures with simple styles such as a bun and puff. My hair is now all natural and I have never regretted my decision. Different products and routine may work differently for different people. What I've used so far works well for me :)My current regimen: I wash my hair once a week with Suave Professionals Almond + Shea butter shampoo and conditioner. I have never washed my hair in sections. I just wet and lather my hair thorough, and wash/condition. I recently started using Soft n' Free Clarifying shampoo, which I use 1 to 2 times a month. While in the shower washing my hair, I do a brief detangling with my fingers. After coming out of the shower, while my hair is still wet I detangle a little more with fingers and a wide tooth comb. Then dividing my hair into sections I apply Shea Moisture's Hold and Shine Moisture Mist, apply EVOO, then my moisture of choice. I currently use Taliah Waajid's Curly Curl Cream. Sometimes, I mix the EVOO with my moisture and apply to my hair. After I am finished with this process, I either bun my hair, braid it or if I have to be somewhere soon, I simply wear it as a puff (like pineapple). I do not blow dry or have a dryer, so my hair always air dries on its own.For my daily care, I simply moisturize with whatever moisture or cream I am using at the moment (Taliah Waajid), mix with EVOO. I use my mist spray when needed, like if my hair, especially the ends starts to get dry. Whenever I use a mist or leave in conditioner spray in my routine care/styling, I follow the LOC method - applying in order - Liquid, Oil, Cream (or I apply liquid first, then mix my oil with the cream).I deep condition in between wash days once a month as a co-wash. I currently use Suave Professional. I deep condition in sections, then put on my plastic cap usually for an hour. Then I massage my scalp and hair, and rinse out, and follow my styling techniques mentioned above.[gallery ids="eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczpcL1wvY291cnRuZXlsc2FuZGVycy5jb21cL3dwLWNvbnRlbnRcL3VwbG9hZHNcLzIwMThcLzEwXC9JbWFfNS5qcGciLCJ0aXRsZSI6IkltYV81IiwiY2FwdGlvbiI6IiIsImFsdCI6IiIsImRlc2NyaXB0aW9uIjoiIn0=,eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczpcL1wvY291cnRuZXlsc2FuZGVycy5jb21cL3dwLWNvbnRlbnRcL3VwbG9hZHNcLzIwMThcLzEwXC9JbWFfNC5qcGciLCJ0aXRsZSI6IkltYV80IiwiY2FwdGlvbiI6IiIsImFsdCI6IiIsImRlc2NyaXB0aW9uIjoiIn0=,eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczpcL1wvY291cnRuZXlsc2FuZGVycy5jb21cL3dwLWNvbnRlbnRcL3VwbG9hZHNcLzIwMThcLzEwXC9JbWFfMy5qcGciLCJ0aXRsZSI6IkltYV8zIiwiY2FwdGlvbiI6IiIsImFsdCI6IiIsImRlc2NyaXB0aW9uIjoiIn0=,eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczpcL1wvY291cnRuZXlsc2FuZGVycy5jb21cL3dwLWNvbnRlbnRcL3VwbG9hZHNcLzIwMThcLzEwXC9JbWFfMi5qcGciLCJ0aXRsZSI6IkltYV8yIiwiY2FwdGlvbiI6IiIsImFsdCI6IiIsImRlc2NyaXB0aW9uIjoiIn0=" orderby="rand"]
