

Do you know what you want?What you really, really want?(Re-read that again and try not to hear The Spice Girls in your head this time…)Four years ago, I wanted to overhaul my entire life.I had big dreams and goals -- I wanted to get out of credit card debt, get my spending under control (so I would no longer be ashamed of my bank account!), get back in the gym, start eating a healthy diet, redo my entire wardrobe in a stylish but budget friendly way, and most of all, grow my online presence so I could start my own successful business doing what I loved.The only problem was I had no idea where to start! There were so many different self-help books, blogs, and “gurus” to choose from that I didn’t know who to listen to. I would sit in Barnes & Nobles for HOURS trying to read through all the material, only to leave (without any books, mind you, since I was broke) more confused about what I needed to do.After years of not finding the information I needed to truly change my life, I had enough! I was tired of each year passing me by with my dreams no more closer to coming true than they were the year before. I figured if all the “guru” advice was just going to leave me more lost than when I started, I decided I would come up with a strategy on my own. By taking the best of what I had learned over the years and combining it with my own trial and error, I ended up stumbling on a process that since then has radically changed my life.By following this simple yet profound goal-setting process, in a few short years I’ve since been able to:
- Pay off three (3!) over-the-limit credit cards and save $1,000...in a little over ONE YEAR...all while going to school full-time and working as a college intern making $14/hour!
- Go from nearly flunking out of college to graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.8 GPA.
- Secure a high profile, top-paying job at a large and well-known U.S. corporation...before I even graduated college! (I was offered the position in September of my senior year)
- Permanently kick my habit of eating McDonald’s nearly everyday (the two cheeseburgers for $2 combo was my favorite) and start eating a healthy, unprocessed, mostly organic diet.
- Lean out and tone up my entire body my lifting weights and going to the gym 4-5 days every week.
- Take my love of personal development and public speaking and turn it into a training and development company for women.
- Grow my blog from a site that maybe got 100 hits a day to community of readers all over the world that gets viewed nearly 30,000 times per month! (I still can’t believe this one…)
So just what is this process? How did I do it?
