chase your dreams

Everyday, I go to work twice.I get up, get ready and commute to my 9-5.Then when my 9-5 is over, I head home and get started on my real job...my "5-9"!As much as I plan on escaping from "cubicle nation" one day very soon, the reality is I still have to work my 9-5 so it can fund and grow my 5-9. And for now, I'm okay with that because everyday, I make progress. In other words, I've learned how to balance chasing my dreams with my 9-5 job.Do you have a big dream you're trying to build on the side but often feel like your 9-5 "gets in the way"? I used to feel like this too until I buckled down and created a system that allowed me to make progress on my goals, despite having to give 10+ hours to "The Man" everyday.Because we're all in this together and I truly, truly, truly want you to succeed, I've put together my second podcast, How to Balance Chasing Your Dreams With Your 9-5 Job, to help you do just that. After listening to this podcast, you will have 5 rock-solid strategies to hustle hard on your "5-9" while still balancing your "9-5". Check it out:

Mind-MappingIn this episode, I mentioned mind-mapping your (1) dream, (2) core needs to make that dream a reality, and (3) must-do tasks. A free software that I LOVE for mind-mapping and use all the time is mindmup.com. I love Mindmup because it saves all your mindmaps to your Google Drive, so you can access them and add to them at anytime. Here's an example of the mind-mapping process I describe in the podcast, done using mindmup:
